How we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Tindra.

Last updated: July 2026

We take the privacy of your business and your customers seriously. This policy describes what we collect and how we handle it.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Tindra ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our cloud point of sale and inventory service. We handle personal data in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines.

By using Tindra, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Account information you provide when registering, such as your business name, business type, owner name, email address, and contact number.

Operational data you create while using the service, such as products, prices, stock movements, sales, and reports.

Payment information for subscriptions is processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card details on our servers.

3. How we use your information

To provide and operate the service, process subscriptions, and keep your account secure.

To provide customer support and respond to your requests.

To maintain reliable records and improve the reliability and quality of the product.

4. How we store and protect data

Each merchant's data is isolated from every other merchant on the platform. Access is scoped by role, so staff only see what their role allows.

We protect data in transit and at rest and apply access controls on the systems that hold it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry practices.

5. Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers that help us run Tindra, such as our cloud infrastructure and payment provider, and only as needed to deliver the service.

We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

7. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to legal limits. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary to sign you in and keep your session secure. These are required for the service to function.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
